World Poker Tour

       World Poker Tour was the first televised show in the United States of its kind. It was the only tournament where you could see the whole players cards during the game. A small camera was put in the table to be able to see the cards. The final table is televised after only 6 players remains. The final table is placed on the center of the stage with spectator all around.
       With the help of the table camera to see each player cards the excitement of the show is higher for the people who watch the game at the TV because you can see who is bluffing.
      The World Poker Tour was created by Lyle Berman and Steve Lipscomb. This tournament was created to broadcast the main poker tournaments around the world under the brand of World Poker Tour.
      The first show attracted millions of viewers and succeeded to bring a unique view to the Poker game because in the past the televised tournaments you normally could see the players hands only if it was a showdown.
